The growth of the Crawford International North Coast’s Boarding Establishment has created the opportunity for us to create and maintain more specific roles for the boarding establishment. One of which will take on the role of Boarding Administrator/Matron The position is one of significant importance and responsibility. The matron ( Boarding Concierge) has a special role in helping the Head of Boarding(HOB) to create a happy and well-disciplined atmosphere throughout the Establishment. Working under the direction of the HOB, the Concierge is required to play a key role in the pastoral care of all the students in the boarding house on a day-to-day basis, with particular responsibility for the physical, social and emotional well-being and presentation of the students in the House. Ultimately, the objective of the Concierge is to play a significant role in establishing a ‘home away from home’ environment in which the boarders are at ease and are happy.
